While discussing paleo breakfast ideas one recipe comes straight to my mind. This one needs apricots, grated coconuts, sliced walnuts and coconut milk. Prepare the apricots by cleaning and then slicing them into thin slices. You don’t prefer the skin, leave them. Mix the grated coconut, apricot and walnuts. Pour the coconut milk and then mix again. Put the whole mixture inside the refrigerator and leave for about 45 minutes. When properly chilled, take out and serve. This makes a great recipe for breakfast, is very nutritious and has nothing in them that a person looking to live on paleo diet would be uninterested in. The reason why paleo diets have become very popular in the last few decades is because of the scientific studies that has lead us to believe that our genome is very much like that of the last Paleolithic age humans and yet we eat no where near to what our bodies are designed for.

Having read an interesting article in a health and beauty magazine that a friend had shown me the other day, I decided that I would be checking out some new beauty products that contain vitamin E. The reason for this is that one of the main benefits of vitamin E is that it helps to revitalize dry and damaged skin. I have been really suffering from the cold weather lately as it has been really damaging the skin on my hands and face and this could just be what the doctor ordered. My friend said that she saw the article and though that it could be something that I could use as I had been moaning about my dry skin over non-stop over the last ten days or so. I am really hoping that I can pick up some of these products for cheaper that the prices that they were shown as in the article.

... best sources of the nutritionally important omega 6 fatty acids glaBoth Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are important to human health. The balance of these two essential fatty acids in the human diet is very important to consider. Experts believe that the ratio of Omega 3 fatty acids and the Omega 6 fatty acids in a diet should be 1:4 or lower than that.

One way to improve the human diet is to eat fewer on foods rich in Omega 6 fatty acids and more on foods that are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids.

The best food sources of Omega 3 fatty acids are cold water fish which are high in EPA and DHA which includes the salmon, mackerel, tuna, and sardines. If the person is not a fish lover then there is another way for them to get Omega 3 fatty acids and that is by means of taking Omega 3 fish oil supplements. These supplements can be in liquid or capsule form.

Other sources of Omega 3 fatty acids are the flaxseed oil, walnuts, and green leafy vegetables.

Shakeology is great since it’s so convenient. I love having mine at lunch because the cafeteria is very far and I am too tired most times to go down. I’d rather have a complete shake at my office. This is the perfect snack for me. I am pleased that I can gulp this without any guilt because it is very low in sugar. I am glad someone came out with a shake such as this one. I am hoarding—always hoarding this. This is the kind of shake that I can vouch for. I love the taste and the consistency. It’s super yum.

The great thing about this is that there are so many ingredients that you can add to it to make more exciting flavours. I love adding some beets to mine or sometimes some yogurt. I also add some peanut butter and some fruits like papaya and pineapple. LOVE SHAKES.
